Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, and Luke Bryan will be helping fans continue the Super Bowl celebrations this weekend by performing at a livestreamed after party.
Comedienne Tiffany Haddish will host the Verizon Big Concert for Small Business event on Sunday, when Brandi Carlile and Brittany Howard will also be among the performers.
The after show will take place on Verizon’s various social media platforms, including Twitch and YouTube at 11pm ET, immediately after the big American football championship game, during which the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the Super Bowl LV title.
The Weeknd will be providing the Super Bowl Halftime Show entertainment, with H.E.R. singing America the Beautiful and Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church teaming up for the U.S. National Anthem prior to the 6.30pm ET kick off.
Canadian hitmaker The Weeknd will be performing completely live, choosing not to pre-record anything despite Covid concerns.
“It’s all happening in that stadium, in that moment,” Jesse Collins, the co-producer of the show, told Entertainment Tonight.
“We’re not bouncing off to another stadium and then cutting in, like some people have had to do (before). We are fortunate enough in this situation that we are able to do a live, live show.”
